Driver cries out to Sanwo-Olu, LASTMA boss over N8,000 bribe

The Driver accountable for a Volkswagen transport with Reg. Plate Number. FKJ476 XB, Kingsley Ibeanuchi have engaged the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the head supervisor accountable for the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) to act the hero and request a Lastma Official recognized just as Junaid joined to Lekki LASTMA office to discharge his transport which was appropriated since 27 November 2019 over his refusal to take care of the N8,000 he Junaid discounted to him at the LASTMA office, Oshodi.

Portraying his experiences to PM News; “Ibeanuchi supposedly expressed; Junaid and Odeshina captured my transport in November 2019 for no admirable motivation and took my transport to their office at Lekki, Lagos with an order that I would pay them N10,000 before they would discharge my transport to me.


“What’s more, after I figured out how to pay them N8,000, they discharged my transport and severely on the grounds that I didn’t submit any offense when Junaid captured me, I called a senior authority at the LASTMA Headquarters office at Oshodi, Lagos to advise him regarding my predicament and the senior LASTMA official welcomed me, Junaid and Odeshina to his office for cross examination.

During addressing at the brought office, the two LASTMA authorities supposedly conceded gathering the cash from me and the senior LASTMA investigative specialist requested Odeshina to discount the N8,000 to me and Odeshina discounted the cash to me.

“I was stunned on 27 November, 2019 at the Lekki traffic light, Junaid and Oluwa appeared unexpectedly and entered my transport and said I was set to be taken to jail and when I solicited them from my offense, Junaid said that he captured me in reprisal of the N8,000 he and Odeshina discounted to me and that I should discount the cash to them or else they would charge me to court to proceed to endure and pay more cash. I am currently engaging Governor Sanwo-Olu and the General Manager of LASTMA to help me to discharge my transport before craving would execute my infant since I didn’t submit an offense.
