Food blogger, Lisa Faulkner has shared with us her grandma’s juicy Marmalade recipe on her social media page, via Instagram.
For those wondering what “Marmalade” is, it is a fruit preserve made from the juice and peel of citrus fruits boiled with sugar and water.
The well-known version is made from bitter orange, but it is also made from lemons, limes, grapefruits, mandarins, sweet oranges, bergamots, and other citrus fruits, or a combination
1.5kg Seville oranges
3kg granulated sugar
3.6 litres water
Grate the zest off the oranges then cut them in half and squeeze the juice and the lemon
Pour into large heavy-bottomed pan.
